CIANI/ORKEST brings together five-time Grammy nominee and electronic music pioneer Suzanne Ciani with the Metropole Orkest for a live performance exploring the dialogue between electronic and orchestral composition. Recorded at Amsterdam Dance Event, CIANI/ORKEST is a bold, immersive encounter between the Buchla electronic instrument and a 50-piece orchestra. The result is a sweeping sonic landscape that feels both intimate and monumental.

The artwork translates this conversation into a visual language built around tension, movement, and exchange. Rather than treating the electronic and orchestral elements as separate worlds, the cover reflects their continuous interplay: a call and response, a push and pull between two distinct forces. This dynamic relationship creates an ever-shifting space in between, where both elements influence and transform one another. The lenticular cover brings this idea to life, making the artwork feel both in motion and suspended between two states.

Each pressing is made regionally to minimize carbon emissions and contributes to @earthpercent, Brian Eno’s music industry’s climate and nature foundation.
